As we are still running our cloudpanel on an “old” Windows 2012R2 server, we would like to migrate everyting to a brand new vm running Windows 2019.
Are there any specific steps to follow to migrate the software to a new vm?

Essentially what you would do is move the SQL database with SQL Management Studio and then install the same version of CloudPanel on the new server but tick the checkbox for “Skip database configuration” as seen at the bottom of this page: https://kb.knowmoreit.com/docs/install-cloudpanel/install-cloudpanel/
