Hi Jason,

I just upgraded to v3.2.0335 – however, i pretty quickly discovered a bug:

When adding/editing a users email alias, i would get and error saying “Domain ‘[valid domain suffix], [local part of next email alias]’ is not valid for company xxxx”

I reverted back to my previous very and was again able to edit email aliases for users.

Regards,

Robin

It is checking that the domain name (after the @) exists in that company and is enabled for email. Take a look and see if under Domains that it exists there.

@jdixon the domains exist for the company, so for example i have domains the  foo.com & bar.com configured for the company, the email alias for the user are: alice@foo.com, bob@bar.com & trent@foo.com

The error message reads “foo.com, bob” is not valid for the company – it is as if the local part of the 2nd email alias was being appended to the foo.com domain when being validated.

I upgrade back to 335 this weekend to re-check , but the issue went away when i reverted back to my pre-upgrade backups.

@robing it seems as if maybe you entered multiple aliases separated by comma? Did you type bob@foo.com and then hit enter and then typed alice@foo.com and enter again? I just tested it on this build and it is working on this end. I may have to connect and take a look if you want to try it again
