Hi All.

I need to add a new mailbox database in Exchange 2013. Just wondering if I am OK to add this via the Exchange Control Panel (and then CloudPanel will just see this) or whether the database needs creating via the CloudPanel UI (not that I can see anywhere obvious to add this).

Once the new DB is added, can existing mailboxes just be moved via the Exchange Control Panel or does CloudPanel need to know which DB the mailboxes are on?

Thanks

You can add the DB to Exchange. The CloudPanel service will automatically pick this up or you can go to the database section on the right menu and refresh it from there. If you move users to new databases on the backend then it will pick this up automatically as well (takes some time before it reflects).

Thanks Jacob. I don’t seem to have a menu on the right. Was this menu introduced in a newer version?

There has been a right menu in 3.2 for a while. Some people mistake it for a logout icon but it’s the icon at the very top right
