Hello,

I am trying to add a new distribution group for one of the companies and I get an error “Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source”.  I’ve looked at all the settings and I can’t see where this error might be coming from.

Did you add a member to the managed by section?

Yes, I did.

Which version are you currently on. Also if you look in the log files in the LOG directory where CloudPanel is installed, can you send the debug messages it put out when you tried to create a group?

I’m on the latest version that you just helped me move to on Tuesday.  Below is the log entry:

[2018-05-31 07:31:18,780] | DEBUG | CloudPanel.CPStaticHelpers| Checking if ENE0 is under the limit for section distributiongroup
[2018-05-31 07:31:18,785] | DEBUG | CloudPanel.Modules.GroupsModule| Binding class for new group for ENE0
[2018-05-31 07:31:18,832] | ERROR | CloudPanel.Modules.GroupsModule| Error creating new group for ENE0: System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: source
at System.Linq.Enumerable.Where[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source, Func`2 predicate)
at CloudPanel.Modules.GroupsModule.<.ctor>b__1_33(Object _)

Ok, well a reboot fixed the issue.  Go figure.

Thanks for responding!

Well that is odd. Uhm. I wonder if an upgrade didn’t replace a DLL because it was in use.
