Hi there,

is it possible to implement a feature into the cloudpanel to add ressource mailboxes/shared mailboxes to security groups?

We use groups for journaling mails of specific users. Most of our customers want to journal their shared mailboxes too, but for this request, we have to configure this membership directly in the active directory of the domaincontroller.

That should be an easy option to add but I have to verify since I think CloudPanel is not creating universal security groups which may prevent the option to add the resource mailboxes / shared mailboxes to the security groups.

It’s ok, if the ressource mailbox is added to the security group wich is created in CloudPanel.

We create the needed group for journaling directly on exchange. In CloudPanel is a security group “mailarchiv” where the customers add their users for journaling. This group “mailarchiv” is nested with the exchange-created group.

If the customers now can add their ressources into the same group as their users, they would be happy 🙂
