Workaround

ADSync is unable to run with error “Error retrieving CloudPanel users: System.InvalidOperationException: Nullable object must have a value.”

Workaround: There was a mistake on our end that released a 32-bit version of ADSync when it should of been 64-bit. This causes the service to check the WOW6432Node key which does not exist. To fix this issue, export the key and values from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Know More IT\Sync Service to a registry file, edit the file and change the path to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Know More IT\Sync Service and import the registry file. This will be resolved in the next release and look back at the 64-bit registry.

3.2.0340.0

Hotfix Description Version
Workaround Unable to open any users in CloudPanel with error: “Unable to render the view. Most likely the Model, or a property on the Model, is null” Workaround: Make sure all global and company retention policies have the description field populated. This is a required field for retention policies but importing retention policies from Exchange will most likely not have this populated. 3.2.0340.0
Workaround After upgrading you get a 500 error and cannot load CloudPanel. When you access CloudPanel from the server it is installed on using localhost, it displays an error message about BackupCodes being NULL. Workaround: Open SQL Server Management Studio and execute the following: “DELETE FROM cp_TwoFAAuth WHERE BackupCodes is NULL”. This issue occurs because we upgraded the encryption hash and it fails when trying to process this table because there are NULL values in the BackupCodes column when there shouldn’t be. The NULL values happen when users are enabled for two-factor but they never actually login and setup two-factor. This will be resolved in a later release. 3.2.0340.0

Workaround Clicking the refresh button on the dashboard for the mailbox databases causes an error “Cannot implicitly convert type ‘System.Collections.Generic.List’ to ‘System.Collections.Generic.List'”. Workaround: This issue is resolved in the upcoming release and no public available fix is available for 3.2.0.256.0. A workaround is to use the popout menu at the top right and go to “Databases” and you can refresh the database information there. Also the CloudPanel Service will refresh this information for you over time so you won’t need to click the refresh button. 3.2.0256.0
Workaround Importing mailbox users with a CSV may complain about the mailbox user limit being exceeded, but the company is clearly under the limit. The problem is a bug causing the system to check ALL of the users in the database for the mailbox count instead of just the mailbox users for that company. Workaround: To work around this issue, temporarily change the plan that the company is using to have a much higher mailbox user limit. For example, if you have a total of 400 mailboxes in CloudPanel across all resellers and companies, then make sure the plan is temporarily increased to above 400. Once you are done importing you can change it back. 3.2.0256.0
