Hi,

are there any plans to make Exchange Plans work more like Company Plans?
We were a bit surprised to find, we needed to create Exchange Plans for each and every company.

And what about Email Address Policy’s?
The mostly unchangeable default EAP is a bit of a nuisance, as it assigns the AD-Forest’s domain.
Specifically in the case of migrating/importing.

We are in the process of migrating from a Hosted Exchange 2010 cluster to Exchange 2016.

Lastly, is there a roadmap, anything on planned features? A timetable on new releases?
Maybe even a way to contribute? I understand CloudPanel used to be OSS.

Take care,
Michael

Michael,

You don’t create Exchange plans per company. I mean you can if you want but normally you will have predefined plans that you sell to customers such as a Small, Business, Enteprrise plan and you can use that plan for multiple companies.

Also CloudPanel does not use Email Address Policies and when it creates these mailboxes it sets it to not use an email address policy. If your default policy is applying to objects CloudPanel creates then something is wrong.

We post to the news section for upcoming features but it would be a good idea to create a roadmap page for everyone to see what is coming down the pipeline. We are currently beta testing 3.2 and working out a few bugs. If you are interested in running the beta, let us know!
