Hi there,

can’t install the CloudPanel Service. Within the installer I get the messag:

“Service ‘CloudPanel Service’ (Sheduler.exe) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

Okay, checked that the determined user is part of Administrators Group, and tried again with the same result.

In the event viewer there an error with the following exception-message:

Service cannot be started. Quartz.SchedulerException: Repeat Interval cannot be zero.
at Quartz.Impl.Triggers.SimpleTriggerImpl.Validate()
at Quartz.Core.QuartzScheduler.ScheduleJob(IJobDetail jobDetail, ITrigger trigger)
at Quartz.Impl.StdScheduler.ScheduleJob(IJobDetail jobDetail, ITrigger trigger)
at CPService.CPService.ConfigureJobs()
at CPService.CPService.OnStart(String[] args)
at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceBase.ServiceQueuedMainCallback(Object state)

This error exists multiple times in my eventviewer list.

Best regards!

Can you uninstall the service and install the new version fresh instead of upgrading

Actually look at the CloudPanel setup page and there are intervals for the scheduler. Are any of those set to zero? Check under the exchange tab as well because there is a statistics interval there too

Thanks! Uninstalling previous versions and installing the new one worked fine. May a note in the setup for upgrading users would be nice.

Actually it should have defaulted to 720 if it was zero, so I will have to check on that

Intervals in setup are looking good now and the service is installed succesfully!

@kevinkleinjung determined the error was related to the intervals in the setup not being set above zero after the upgrade. We are going to look at making sure it defaults and documenting this better. Thank you!
